Far East Dragon teaches the Hok San style of Lion Dancing.

Their website has a number of videos of their performances – lots of lions.

There are currently four styles of lions and lion dancing.

The Northern Lion or Northern Golden Lion usually features a red, orange or golden lion which is comparatively shaggier than Southern Lions.

There are three styles of Southern (Cantonese) Lion: Hok San, Fat San and the hybrid Fat-Hok. The Fat San lion (below left) has a curved mouth, a pointed horn, and a long tail. The Hok San Lion (below right) has a straight mouth, a curved horn, and a short tail. The Fat-Hok Lion has the short tail of a Hok San Lion, but the curved mouth of the Fat San Lion. There are also Baby Lions which are smaller versions of the full-sized lion.
