A large (2m x 3m) piece of debris was found off the eastern coast of southern Thailand Saturday.

The Transportation Agency of Malaysia asserts it is not from a Boeing 777, and that the part numbers do not match the Malaysian Airlines catalog, so, if that is accurate, this cannot be from MH370.

No comment yet from any officials in Indonesia about whether this could have drifted all the way from the Air Asia crash site.

Hard to imagine a plane remaining airworthy even if this was the only damage. The barnacles indicate the part has been in the water for a significant length of time. There would be a great many uncomfortable questions if this was part of an Indian test missile.
