These are the favored pearwood dragonhead canes. As before, the yellow highlights on the right arm are temporary sunlight artifacts. We’ve never heard of anyone doing double canes. Presumably, the thinking is if you need two canes to walk, dancing or fighting is out of the question.
Fans of William Shakespeare will recollect he strongly favored iambic pentameter – ten syllables per line. To highlight how different the witches are in MacBeth they speak in seven syllable lines. Somewhere in their Scottish accents they must drop a syllable in the line above (Act IV scene 1) because it certainly sounds like eight counts.
